WHAT IS ibd LAW?

A new division of ibd providing legal services and solutions to SME’s. It is tantamount to your own “in house” legal resource which you can call upon as and when needed at a cost your business can afford and without compromise on service standards

All our advisers have worked in both the legal and SME sector so understand the commercial issues you face and the solutions required

The MDO has 3 options in the current market. Firstly, a solicitor (expensive!); secondly a legal advice line (verbal advice only, no practical support); thirdly – do nothing (potentially very costly and damaging). ibd Law bridges a gap in the market as between solicitors and legal helplines.

ibd Law offers a unique service in that there is currently no other provider of this low cost, intermediate service. Not only will ibd Law implement the advice and assistance provided to the MDO but, should the MDO wish we will also guide MDO’s through the implementation of legal processes themselves

Our services can be as hands on or as hands off as you wish. All of our services are tailored to your business and it’s requirements. We can undertake work on your behalf or we can aid you in implementing legal solutions yourself by providing hands on guidance throughout the process – the choice is yours.

Our services include telephone advice, drafting documents, conducting negotiations on your behalf, case handling, letter writing and face to face advice if so required. We cover employment law, law of contract, consumer law, landlord and tenant, accidents and negotiations.

Early consultation is advisable if there is legislation to be complied with or important legal documents such as contracts to be prepared

Cost effective – our rates are lower than your average firm of solicitors. Our research shows that many firms do not seek legal advice for fear of large legal bills as such, we operate on a far more realistic hourly rate affordable to the small business owner.

High service standards

Greatly reduced and in many cases no time out of office as work can be conducted by telephone and e-mail. We will arrange face to face discussion if necessary however, we have a desire to keep your costs at a minimum wherever possible.
