Career Background: |
11 year strong engineering background with Astra Zeneca,
Marlow Foods and ICI in areas of production, control and process engineering.
I then moved on to be an internal consultant developing and implementing
manufacturing strategies and managing new technology projects (EU,
DTI funded) before leaving to become an external consultant.
Have operated as an external consultant since 1997, initially with
Accenture working on large projects involving business process re-engineering
and corporate strategy development. In parallel I work with Universities
and SMEs on technology transfer and ways of identifying how to decrease
costs and / or increase revenues. |

For the past 4 years I have been adapting the techniques
used by larger companies for application in smaller companies, the
focus being to bring to smaller companies the tools and techniques
employed by larger companies but at an affordable rate.
Registered with the DTI MAS as a Manufacturing Specialist, providing
access to grants for manufacturing companies.
Have worked in Germany and South Africa as well as the UK. |
