Career Background: |
Andy began his career by completing a technical apprenticeship
in the printing industry. A variety of operational roles allowed him
to develop a sound knowledge of different print related processes
and sectors, notably small format packaging and promotions for consumer
retail products. Andy achieved a highly successful career with a nationally
recognised group of print, packaging and smart systems businesses.
Being sales orientated but with a strong operational background, Andy
was appointed as managing director in 1990 and then became group chief
executive in 1998. Taking responsibility for eight subsidiary businesses
each ranging in size from new start up to £10m turnover. |
