Career Background:

Mark is finance professional, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in 1989 after graduating from Liverpool University with an Honours Degree in Mathematics. He has over seventeen years of financial and general management experience, including four years as the Regional Finance Director of a UK Plc, based in Singapore. Mark has consolidated this experience by studying for an MBA with Henley Management College in 2002.

In 2003, Mark bought an Amtrak Express Parcels franchise, successfully growing his logistics business until it became 20% of his franchisor’s total business. The business employed in excess of 50 people across two locations in the North West and had diversified into pick and pack, warehousing and haulage.

Mark now owns ExTrak Intelligent Parcel Solutions.. The business optimises parcel distribution by selecting the best value national carrier for each consignment despatched by a business.

My career has taken me from KPMG (one the world’s leading Chartered Accounting practices), through the corporate world reaching the position of Finance Director Asia Pacific by the age of 33. In 2003 I bought into logistics and grow my business to over 20% of a major UK franchises business within 4 years. Now I have embarked with a new idea that will change the way express parcels are managed forever.
