With an initial background in Business Information Technology, he has developed his skills to include sales, marketing and general finance through his active roles at director level in small and medium sized businesses.

Martin has undertaken consultancy projects from small start-up businesses to large multi-national corporations including the tendering process for large advisory projects.

He has extensive experience of business system selection, recommendation and implementation in most market sectors. In his role as senior board director, he has developed his sales, marketing and general finance skills for small and medium sized companies.

Martin is now looking to use his experience to help small businesses build on their success or overcome any problems they are encountering.

Career Background:

After 4 years as a business systems analyst, Martin joined 3i Consultants as a management consultant, part of the 3i Group. With 3i’s (Investors in Industry) portfolio of small business investments, Martin gained a valuable insight into the day-to-day operations of small and medium sized businesses, experiencing a wide variety of projects throughout the UK.

Martin moved to a top 5 UK Management Consultancy firm to strengthen his financial experience before spending 3 years as a software director in a business systems supplier. He returned to management consultancy, and accepted on-going interim director roles on a non-executive basis, including sales, marketing and MD.
