Career Background:

In the early ‘90s James went straight from University and joined a small business, Grand Prix Racewear Ltd, based in West London.

Within two years James had progressed to Operations Manager having worked in general sales and warehouse operation and within five years assumed the position of Managing Director.

During his time as MD, James acquired four companies and created the GPR Group which included a motorsport business based in Paris, France.

James managed and developed his businesses through the stages of growth with a balance of a hands-on and delegation approach and he created a 30-staff retail, mail order and distribution business group with two retail stores in the UK and one in France with a main distribution hub in the UK. The company became number 2 in the UK motorsport equipment and automotive after-market sector and is currently located at Silverstone Circuit.
